Faribault Girls Hockey Enters Top Twenty State Poll
Let's Play Hockey at StateOfHockey.com has the Faribault Falcons girls hockey team ranked #20 in it's most recent Class A poll released Wednesday. The Falcons are 6-0. Juniors Olivia Williamson and Haley Lang are #2 and #21 in the state in points scored and junior goalie Mikayla Bohner leads the state in wins with 6. Bohner is 5th in goals against average and 7th in save percentage.
Unbeaten Breck (5-0) is #1, Warroad (4-0) #2, Proctor/Hermantown (4-3) is #3, Mound Westonka (5-0) #4 and South St. Paul (3-3) #5. Rochester Lourdes is still ranked #7 to earn honors as the highest ranked southeastern Minnesota school in the poll. The Eagles are in the same section as Faribault. The Falcons are the only Big Nine girls team in the state rankings.
In Class AA the top five are still the same as the previous poll. #1 Andover, #2 Edina, #3 Blake, #4 Wayzata, #5 Eden Prairie.
