Theodor Geisel turned children's writing into a joyous, silly roll of the tongue with his work as Dr. Seuss. I loved the nights of tackling his poetic prose while reading to my kids. The Little Theatre of Owatonna takes the fun to the stage with "Seussical" July 12-15 and July 19-22 at the West Hills Auditorium.

I considered it a victory if I could read through a page without a flub. "Green Eggs and Ham," "Cat in the Hat" and "On Beyond Zebra" are just a few of the ones I most enjoyed. I saw a copy of "Oh The Places You'll Go" on my daughter's bookshelf. Does any graduate not get a copy of that book?

I invite you to join the conversation on the KRFO Facebook page with your vote for the top Dr. Seuss book. Votes already include "The Lorax" and "Hop on Pop" in addition to a couple that I've already mentioned.
