Authorities Searching For ‘Dangerous’ Escaped Inmate in Wadena County

Wadena County, MN (KRFO AM News) - The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert regarding an escaped inmate. According to the release, 34-year-old Ryan Paul Petro escaped from custody during a transition to a court appearance. Petro was last seen in Wadena, near Colfax Ave SE around 2:45 p.m. Monday (10/28)

Petro is dressed in an orange shirt, Khaki pants wearing handcuffs and a belt. He is considered dangerous. If located, do not approach him. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Sheriff Michael Carr says Petro has been in custody since September 28 for charges including 1st-degree burglary, misdemeanor fleeing on foot, misdemeanor damage to property, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, misdemeanor obstructing legal process, and Felony conditions of release.
