Dodge Center House Wiped Out By Fire
Dodge Center, MN ( KROC AM News) - It appears a fire destroyed a house in Dodge Center Monday.
Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose says the fire was reported by the homeowner around 4:30 PM. The house is located at 17830 635th St. in rural Dodge Center.
Deputies arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Deputies reported sparks were visible from behind the home near two LP tanks. Excel Energy was called in to help assist and Canadian Pacific Railroad was contacted due to the proximity to the tracks. Fire crews from Dodge Center, Claremont and Hayfield responded to the blaze.
Rose says the house was occupied when the fire broke out and “ everyone was able to get out of the home safely without injuries.”
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.
