Burnsville Stand-off Ends Peacefully

Burnsville police were called to the parking lot of the Costco store in the area of Burnhaven Drive and McAndrews Road around 5:30 pm on Wednesday, on the report of a suicidal individual that had a gun.

The suspect's vehicle was spotted near the Costco gas station. The man said he had a gun and police proceeded to evacuate the store, the parking lot and parts of the surrounding neighborhoods.

After nearly 12 hours, the situation was resolved around 5 am Thursday without shots being fired. Costco was expected to open normally Thursday morning.

No other information is available about the incident.
