Big Game Party Preparations
Rumor has it, there is a pretty big game on Sunday, and unfortunately, the Vikings are not playing in it. That doesn't mean that we can't or won't have a party and enjoy the game, or the commercials and the Half-Time show. Let's be honest, if the Vikings aren't playing, all we have is the commercials.
So, this past week I have been putting together a menu, inviting my friends, and cleaning house for this big shindig on Sunday. I am doing tailgate type foods if you lug a crock-pot to the tailgate parties. Bacon wrapped cocktail wienies, BBQ wienies, pulled pork sammiches, chips, dip, white queso dip, and of course a veggie tray, for those who want to eat somewhat healthy.
According to what I have found online, the most popular food for the big day is chicken wings. Hmm, maybe I should add that to the menu...If you want to see other popular foods to serve at your party or to bring for a potluck, check this site out.
The forecast is looking great for Sunday, so traveling shouldn't be an issue. Enjoy the food and fun! Me, I'm looking forward to seeing some good football and the Half-Time show, I do like Adam Levine.
