Tuesday was another good night for the Blooming Prairie boys and Medford girls basketball teams. BP won at Maple River 52-43. Medford beat Hayfield 54-45. Each squad is now 4-0.

Blooming Prairie grabbed a quick five-point lead and the gap hovered around there until the Awsome Blossoms surged ahead to a 29-16 lead at the half. Gabe Hagen led BP with 18 points. Karson Vigeland and Kaden Thomas each added 12. Vigeland was 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Blooming Prairie (4-0 overall, 2-0 Gopher Conference) plays at NRHEG Friday, December 14.

The Medford girls continued their strong start to the season with their victory at the Vikings. The Tigers are averaging nearly 70 points per game and holding opponents to 43. Medford (4-0, 3-0) play at Bethlehem Academy in Faribault Friday night.
