Very Courteous (And Very Bad) Burglar Leaves Apology Beer
Even bad guys are nice in Canada.
A woman in Halifax, Nova Scotia left a note of apology and a six-pack of beer for a woman after he tried to break into her apartment in the wee hours of the morning earlier this month.
The outlaw, who signed the note "Cliff," wrote, in part, "I sincerely apologize for waking you up and being so disorderly in the middle of the night. Please accept this six-pack of average tasting beer as a token of my appreciation."
How about that, huh? In America, the intruder wouldn't apologize, but he probably would file a lawsuit against the homeowner after cutting his hand trying to pick the lock on the front door.
So, Canada has good healthcare and the goons who break into your house will also leave your beer to say sorry. Now, why, exactly, didn't more people head for the border after Donald Trump was elected?
