Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - A man who left his vehicle running and unlocked while he was inside a Byron convenience store Tuesday came out to find it was no longer there.

The 26-year-old Plainview man was at the NW Kwik Trip store around 10:00 pm and said he was inside for about 5 minutes.

He described the vehicle as a 2009 white F-150 pickup truck with large tow mirrors.

He reportedly told a deputy he always leaves the keys in his unlocked truck because he never thought it would be stolen in a small town.

News update: Tools worth thousands of dollars stolen from Rochester construction site.
