
Two Men Hit By Semi-Truck In Northwest Minnesota

Alexandria, MN (KROC AM News) - It was a very close call for two men who stopped to change a tire Monday in northwest Minnesota.
They were hit by a semi-truck.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened around 2:30 pm on westbound I-94 near Alexandria.
According to the State Patrol accident report, the two were in a pickup truck that stopped on the shoulder to change a tire on the trailer they were pulling. The accident report says the two men “were attempting to change a driver’s side tire on the trailer when they were struck by a Peterbilt semi.”
Both men were taken to a hospital in Fergus Falls to be treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening. They were identified as 23-year-old Jacob Carlson of Lindstrom and 23-year-old Alexander Sagendorf of Chisago City.
The driver of the truck was identified as 55-year-old Curtus Walling of Baraboo, Wisconsin.
