Date Set For Rochester Woman’s Murder Trial
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A trial date has been set for a Rochester woman accused of being involved in the shooting death of a Rochester man in 2018.
35-year-old Kielah Parsons appeared for a hearing this afternoon in Olmsted County Court during which a pretrial hearing was scheduled on March 12th and the start of her trial on second-degree murder charges was scheduled for the following Monday. Her trial was originally scheduled to take place last April.
Parsons is accused of being with 28-year-old Malcolm Woods when he fatally shot 38-year-old Brandon Arndt in the doorway of the victim's residence at a southeast Rochester mobile home park on September 10, 2018. Woods was recently convicted of 1st-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
A 3rd defendant in the case, 21-year-old Darian Klindworth-Woods, is currently scheduled to stand trial in early June. He is also facing second-degree murder charges.
