Minnesota loves its comfort foods!  Throw in a holiday like Thanksgiving, and not only will you get your favorite foods but you'll need to remember to wear your stretchy pants.

Somehow we manage to eat turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and still have room for dessert.  Well, that tryptophan in the turkey might make us take a nap for a bit but as soon as we wake up, we've got room again for some dessert.

Delta Dental, who created the survey, also reminds everyone to brush and floss to help get the sugary sweets off your teeth.  Since 90% of adults have had tooth decay in their lifetime, that's a tip everyone should follow on Thanksgiving Day.  A centerpiece of toothbrushes and little tubes of toothpaste might be overboard though.  Stick with the cornucopia in the middle of the table.

What's your favorite Thanksgiving memory?

Growing up, my home was the place where everyone was welcome for the holidays.  Even today, when I go home for the holidays, someone new will be at the table.  That is the norm.

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories was way before the pandemic hit.  One of the special guests that came wasn't just the most amazing cook...she brought homemade buns!  She even made homemade whipped cream, pies, and more!  A-Maz-Ing...and why I had to wear stretchy pants on Thanksgiving Day.

I'd love to hear your favorite Thanksgiving memory.  Message me now on my Facebook page, Jessica On The Radio.
