Three Lead-Footed Drivers Caught in Olmsted County

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Three motorists were caught driving over 90 mph in Olmsted County within a two-hour span on Sunday.

And it wasn’t the first time for one of them.

The first speeder was nabbed around 2:00 PM on Highway 52 near Oronoco. The La Crosse man was clocked at 91 mph in the 65 mph zone.

Half an hour later, an Austin man was pulled over on I-90 near the Highway 63 interchange after being clocked at 92 mph in the 70 mph zone. The trooper who made the stop discovered 19-year-old Antonio Valencia had been stopped for speeding twice in the same area just a few months ago - 80 mph Dec 15th and 84 mph on Dec. 24th.

The third stop on Sunday involved a Rochester man caught driving 94 mph on I-90, also near Highway 63.
