Target is looking to add a little more than 100,000 seasonal workers nationwide. Typically, seasonal holiday workers at Target and other major retail stores would work on the floor during the busy holiday season but this year, their roles will be a little different. This year, Targets seasonal workers will manage contactless services, mainly the Drive Up and Order Pickup options.

The success of our business strategy rests on the strength of our team and their ability to adjust quickly to the needs of our guests and their changing shopping patterns - Melissa Kremer, Target's Chef Human Resources Officer

According the press release by Target, the Minneapolis retail giants digital options have been surging in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year alone, the Drive Up and Order Pickup options have nearly quadrupled this year alone. Other roles the seasonal workers will play is front-of-store team which will help clean and disinfect carts, provide mask to guest, and help meter guest to allow for safe distancing during their shopping experience.

Pay for the seasonal workers will start out at $15 a hour. To apply, you can visit targetseasonaljobs.com
