Fans who attended a Northwoods League baseball or softball game across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana this past summer may have had their personal information compromised in a recent data breach, according to a notification from the Northwoods League, Inc.

St. Cloud Post 76 advanced to the 3rd annual MN Legion State Championship game Sunday vs La Crescent with a 3-1 win over Upsala in the semifinals. Ella Voit threw 7 innings, gave up 2 hits, 1 run, 0 walks and had 16 strikeouts. Tayla Vought went 2-4 with 2 doubles.

ROCORI lost 6-2 to St. Francis Wednesday in the Class 3-A State Softball Tournament Quarterfinals at Caswell Park in North Mankato. The Spartans went out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning but St. Francis responded with 2 runs 2nd inning, added 1 run in the 4th and 5th innings before scoring 2 more runs in the 7th inning.

Cathedral defeated defeated Class 2-A champion Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 2-1. Senior Ella Voit pitched the complete game, giving up 4 hits, 1 walk and had 7 strikeouts.

Waite Park Babe Ruth baseball/softball is coming off a successful tournament weekend which saw the 10U softball team win first place. The co-President of the organization and head coach of the 10U Waite Park softball team, Tony Dingmann joined me on WJON.

The Owatonna girls fast pitch softball team honored their senior members for the lost 2020 season.

Sixteen youth softball and baseball teams were recognized Thursday evening by Owatonna's Youth 1st program for their summer accomplishments.

The Owatonna girls' fast pitch softball team won a thriller 7-6 over Lakeville South Thursday at Todd Park in Austin. Rochester John Marshall eliminated OHS from the Section 1AAAA tournament 8-1 after that.

Lakeville North scored seven runs in the first inning on one hit and defeated Owatonna 9-4 in the quarterfinal round of the Section 1AAAA girls' fast pitch softball tournament Tuesday.
