Sunday Crash On I-35 In Rice County Sends One To Hospital

Yesterday morning a crash on I-35 Northbound in Rice County sent one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The two-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 35 at 65th Street W in Webster Township. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Sunday morning at 11:07 a crash was reported on I-35 Northbound in Webster Township. The crash involved two vehicles heading north when they collided.

A 2016 Nissan Altima, driven by 46-year-old Shane Reasor of Madelia, and 2010 Ford Explorer collided sending a passenger in the Altima, 36-year-old Michelle Guenzel of Eagle Lake, to the Northfield hospital with what were reported as non-life threatening injuries.

Both the 29-year-old driver and 28-year-old passenger in the 2010 Ford Explorer were uninjured in the crash.

The State Patrol incident report indicated that the roads were dry at the time of the crash. Also responding to the crash was the Rice County Sheriff's Office.
