Sterling to Present Music of One of His Influencers

Mick Sterling, Minnesota Music Hall of Fame member is performing a tribute concert Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Paradise Center for the Arts (PCA) in Faribault.

"Mick Sterling presents Billy Joel with Strings" honors one of Sterlings' main musical influencers.

Ticket prices have been reduced at PCA due to the high cost of gas and virtually everything else.  Members can attend for $15, non-members $20, Students $10.

Sterling and a fellow member of his band attended a Billy Joel concert at the State Theatre in Minneapolis.

All the big Joel hits will be performed at the PCA concert.

Sterling says Faribault is one of his favorite places to perform and hopes Billy Joel fans will attend next Friday.

I did some checking and the average ticket price for a Billy Joel concert is currently $1,554 according to Vivid Seats.

Joel does have some concerts scheduled this year but the soon-to-be 73 year old will not be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.  The closest venues are Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana on June 25 and Comerica Park in Detroit July 9.

Obviously this isn't Billy Joel but it is his music being performed in a unique fashion Friday, April 22, 2022 in Faribault.
