The Owatonna Area Shriners will once again offer their yearly screening for children in the area. The free Pediatric Orthopaedic screening will be offered Saturday, April 21 in the 3rd floor Gainey Room of the Owatonna Public Library. Hours will be 9-12PM. children will be evaluated to see if their bone, muscle, or joint problem is a treatable condition at Shriner's Hospitals for Children in the Twin Cities.

Shriner's Children Hospitals provide medical, surgical and rehabilitative care for children with orthopaedic conditions regardless of their ability to pay. Children up to the age of 18 are invited to stop in and be screened. Among the possible treatable conditions is cleft lip and palate, burns and spinal cord injuries.

Walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling Dick Heide at (507)-456-2069. Dick will be our guest on Talk of the Town on AM 1390 on Thursday at 9:40AM.
