* Until 400 PM CDT

* At 204 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Another one half
inch of rain is expected over the next hour across the advisory
area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hayfield, Oslo, Waltham, Sargeant, County Roads 3 And 108,
Brookside Campground, Graves Landing Field, Highway 30 And County
15, County Roads 1 And 15, County Roads 1 And 7, Highway 30 And
County 3 and Interstate 90 And County 1.

If threatening weather conditions are sighted, move to a place of safety. Relay reports of any damgae to your local law enforcement. Remember that severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce a tornado.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 7pm for a large portion of southern Minnesota.

Counties included Blue Earth, Brown, Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Le Sueur, Martin, Mower, Nicollet, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Waseca, Watowan and Winona counties.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are moving up from southwestern Minnesota.
