Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A well-known Rochester-area soccer coach has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with two teenage girls.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Behrns says 31-year-old Dustin Beckman of Rochester was arrested Wednesday and is expected to be arraigned Friday.

Behrns says investigators learned in March of allegations that Beckman had inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl during a training session at Dover-Eyota High School last December. He was head coach of the high school’s girls’ team at the time.

Investigators then learned of allegations involving another 14-year-old girl that included “forced, sexual contact including penetration. “ Behrns says those allegations were in the time period of July 2016 through December 2017 and the reported assaults took place at his home.  Behrns says Beckman knew the girl "through soccer-related activities."

Behrns says evidence in the case has caused concern among investigators that there may be more alleged victims.

According to an RCTC article, Beckman has also worked as an assistant coach for the RCTC women’s team, head coach at Winona State and served as head coach of a Byron youth team.
