Rochester Men Hospitalized After Drug Overdose
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two Rochester men were brought to St. Mary’s Hospital after a drug overdose over the weekend.
Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Woodhaven Ct. Northeast shortly before 8 p.m. Friday. A friend of two men at the residence reported finding them unconscious.
Moilanen said emergency medical personnel were already at the scene when officers arrived. The men, described as 23 years old and 34 years old, were brought to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Moilanen said Monday morning he did not have an update on the conditions of the men other than that they were alive. He said one of the men talked with officers at the hospital and admitted to drug use.
Moilanen says it’s unknown which drug the men were using prior to the overdose.
