Rochester Man Arrested As Suspect In Fatal Shooting In Moorhead
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man wanted for a murder in Moorhead, Minnesota was apprehended Monday.
Officers from RPD, the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, and the Minnesota BCA were involved in the arrest.
RPD communications coordinator Amanda Grayson says the suspect was apprehended “during a high risk stop shortly after 1 p.m. at 48th Street and Maine Avenue SE.”
A 2nd-degree murder charge has been filed against 26-year-old Idris Haji-Mohamed. He is suspected of shooting Abdi Mohamed Abdi of Fargo last Friday evening.
The Moorhead Police Department does not know the relationship between the victim and suspect but does not believe the murder was random.
