Rochester Boarder Set to Represent Minnesota in X Games
The X Games start today in Minneapolis, and we are rooting for our Rochester native.
Alec Majerus is originally from Rochester, and moved to California to become a pro. "He grew up skating in basements, garages and the cold, windy streets of Rochester, giving him a versatility and resilience other skaters can't match." According to his X Games bio.
Alec won Tampa Am in 2012, took third as a pro in 2014, and finished fourth at both XG Austin 2015 and XG Oslo 2016. We are excited to see what he can do with the "home field advantage."
US Bank Stadium is completely transformed for the X Games. Check out the pictures here.
