A Caledonia native took the task of telling the story of the creation of one of the most dominant runs of High School Football the nation has ever seen.

After capturing their 5th straight state title and winning 68 games in a row, Caledonia High School graduate Mark Esch released the book "Rise of the Warriors". A story of how a change in culture for the football team transferred throughout the community.

Esch told WKBT-TV, that any city or town can re-create what Caledonia has done, citing that coach Carl Fruechte's teaching of culture and life skills were important to the programs turn around.

Esch has had his own success in coaching, too, winning two state championships during his tenure as head coach at Mankato West High School.

The book is available for purchase and you can do so HERE.

What the Warriors football has done has been incredible, and the buy-in from the community is amazing, too. You can read about the stories and all from Esch and Fruechte by ordering the book today.
