Peterbuilt Accident Sends Owatonna Man to Hospital

The Minnesota State Patrol reports a tractor trailer accident on Wednesday afternoon sent an Owatonna man to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.

62 year old Frank Springer of Owatonna was northbound on Highway 56 in Windom Township in Mower County when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road into the east ditch. The tractor came to rest upright and the trailer turned over on its side. The accident happened around 2:30pm Wednesday afternoon.
