The Paradise Center for the Arts will stop by for our AM Minnesota program today at 9:30 a.m. and we will get details about events through the end of July.  I'm sure we will discuss this week's Paradise Community Theatre performances of "Little Shop of Horrors."  Performances are this Friday and Sunday and next Thursday through Sunday,

Sunday performances are 2:00 p.m. and all others 7:30 p.m. in the air conditioned Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault.  Tickets are $15 for members, $17 for those who are not members and $11 for students.  This play is being director by Faribault High School theater department head Paul Johnson.  "Little Shop of Horrors" has had success on Broadway and in Hollywood.

The sci-fi musical been around for over three decades and still delights audiences.  Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind one of the most popular shows in the world.

This musical is one of the longest running Off-Broadway shows and is described by the Paradise Center for the Arts in their publicity as, "The charmingly tongue-in-cheek comedy about a man-eating planet."
