October is another busy month at the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault.  We will get the details on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program at 9:30 a.m.  I attended the final performance of "A Celebration of Faribault: The 1855 Live Show" Sunday and it was terrific.

Co-Producers and Directors Samuel Temple and Logan Ledman were joined by Sam Dwyer in putting the show together.  Dwyer scored all the music for the show and led a live youth orchestra in performing it.  The show was not a musical but the music was a integral part of it's success.  A near sell-out was at the Paradise yesterday for the final performance.

Savannah Jack has headlined for Kenny Rogers, Vince Gill and Lady Antebellum and will be in Faribault Saturday, October 13th at 7:30 p.m.

The 2nd Annual Minnesota and More Spirits Tasting and costume party (costumes optional, but prizes will be awarded in several categories).  Sample spirits from local and regional craft distilleries, breweries and vineyards.  Friday, October 19th at 7:30 p.m.  After the tasting enjoy a classic horror film.

We will try to find out when the Haunted Basement Tours take place this month when the curtain is lowered and the lights go out with the Paradise spirits wandering about.

If you can't listen to the show at 9:30 a.m.you can listen below.
