Owatonna’s Newest Coffee Shops
Coffee has it's own day once a year on October 1. But I am a firm believer that everyday is coffee day. With that in mind, can there ever be too many options. Owatonna has recently added a couple of spots to get a good dose of caffeine.
The Chamber Ambassadors of the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism (OACCT) recently visited the new Starbucks Coffeehouse located at the Owatonna Hy-Vee Food Store for a ribbon-cutting. The chamber's Tuesday Talk e-newsletter wishes to "congratulate the business on its recent addition. Beth Smith is the Starbucks manager, Justin Lewer is the Hy-Vee Food Store manager."
Not long ago, Caribou Coffee opened up a drive-thru only location in Owatonna to go along with their in-person store out by Cabela's. The drive-thru shack is at 621 W. Bridge Street, practically a next-door neighbor to a Starbucks.
Owatonna also boasts great hometown options. Central Park Coffee is just a few steps from their namesake downtown.
In other news from Tuesday Talk:
- The Chamber's Annual Meeting is Friday, January 29 as a virtual event beginning at 5:30 pm.
- The Steele County grant program is accepting applications for businesses and non-profit organizations affected by the Executive Orders during the pandemic. The deadline to submit a request for funds is February 12, 2021.
- The chamber is hosting a webinar along with CLA to address how the stimulus package will impact your business and taxes. It will be held Thursday, February 4 from 8 to 9 am.
