Tonight, Tuesday April 2, two groups with opposing views on building a new high school in Owatonna will meet. The Vote Yes for OHS will meet from 5:30-6:30pm at Federated Insurance in the Annexstad building. You're asked to park and enter the SE side of the building.

The Concerned Owatonnans for Public Education of C.O.P.E. will hold a presentation tonight starting at 5pm in the Gainey Room of the Owatonna Public Library. Leaders of C.O.P.E. will explain the mission of the organization, which is to defeat the referendum for anew Owatonna High School.

Meanwhile absentee ballots for the May 14 school district special election are now available at the county auditor's office through Monday, May 13 at 5pm. The auditor's office will also be open on Saturday, May 11 from 10-3pm.
