Owatonna Post 77 baseball dropped both ends of a doubleheader against the Rochester A's on Tuesday in Owatonna. Meanwhile the VFW Post 3723 split a twin bill at Northfield.

Owatonna's legion baseball team clung to a narrow 1-0 lead early in their first game against the Rochester A's at Fuller Field on Tuesday night. The A's scored the next four runs for a 4-1 victory. Rochester jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the second game and held on for an 8-5 win. Post 77 plays a single game at New Ulm on Wednesday night at 7:30PM. The legion goes to Faribault on Thursday for a 7PM game, which is part of a doubleheader with the VFW teams playing at 5PM.

Owatonna's VFW team split a pair of games in Northfield on Tuesday. Owatonna took the opener 6-3. Northfield won the nightcap 7-2. After a game at Faribault on Thursday, the VFW plays in the Blaine Tournament beginning Friday morning.

The Owatonna Aces amateur team takes to the diamond at Dartts Park on Wednesday night against the Kasson Coyotes at 7:30PM. The Sharks from Stewartville-Racine pay a visit Friday night at 7:30PM.
