Owatonna Takes Third at State Gymnastics Meet for Third Straight Year
For the third straight season the Owatonna High School gymnastics team captured third place at the state meet. It was their fourth straight trip to the show.
OHS coach Tom Smith said Friday leading up to warm ups that he felt the Huskies had been the most consistent team throughout the season. And with that consistent scoring the Huskies continued to hold the recently monopoly on the third place trophy, taking for the third straight year with 147.575. Lakeville North captured the title for the second time in three years with 149.350. The 2018 champ Stillwater Area finished second with 148.615, flipping spots with the Panthers.
