The Owatonna Chamber of Commerce is ready to launch this year's Passport program on May 1. The program will run through May, with a "Be a Tourist in Owatonna Day" on May 16 featuring special events.

The Chamber encourages Passport participants to visit any of the 14 participating Owatonna-area businesses, tourist attractions or events to collect stamps. At the end of May, participants mail their passport cards to the Chamber to enter drawings for Chamber dollars and other prizes. People who collect at least five stamps qualify for the $100 Chamber dollars drawing; those who get 10 or more punches will be entered to win $200 Chamber dollars.

Passport cards are free and can be picked up at the Chamber office, 320 Hoffman Drive, Owatonna, or downloaded from the Chamber website.
