Opened since 1994, A Blooming Prairie Business Can Expect To See Big Changes In Future
The current owner of Sportstitch, Inc., Linda Klemmensen, announced it's time for her to part with her business, effective September 1st. She is so thankful for her 27 years in the business arena but is ready to focus on being a grandmother.
Becky Miner, and her husband Dan Miner, are taking over Sportstitch and turning it into Sportstitch & More, Inc.
Not only will the company undergo an owner change and a name update, but the location will also be new. I wasn't kidding when I said the business was undergoing big changes!
The new location is 623 6th Street SE in Blooming Prairie. Luckily, it's not too far from the original location.
The only things about the business that will remain the same will be the phone number and email.
Sportstitch specializes in embroidery, screen printing, and promotional products.
Klemmensen has full faith in the new team. In a letter on Facebook, she stated:
"My husband Randy and I feel that Becky and her husband Dan Miner are the perfect couple to take over our small business! They closely resemble the team effort and joint support that we have put into this business for the past 27 years. Together they will serve the area well by providing great products with reasonable pricing in a timely manner. These components have been the backbone of this business from day one and will continue to be so."
Klemmensen will work with Miner the first several weeks through the transition. Any logos and company information will be passed along, and prices and products are expected to remain the same.
Best of luck to the Miner's and farewell to the Klemmensen's.
