NRHEG Softball Puts Unbeaten Mark to the Test Monday
New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva girls fast pitch softball team is off to a stellar 5-0 start on the season, heading into a home game with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Monday, April 26 at 4:30 pm in New Richland. The Buccaneers opened the season 3-0, but have battled through some injuries and have dropped their last two.
Regarding a recent win, Panthers coach Wendy Schultz summed up the start of the season, "Quite a bit of hitting and we played pretty good defense. We did not have any errors. That's always nice to see."
"(This) week we have a couple of big games. Monday we play Waterville, obviously they are a tough team and doing very well. Tuesday we have a makeup against Blue Earth Area...We play Blooming Prairie on Thursday." All three games are at home for NRHEG.

Owatonna girls lacrosse plays at Rochester Century at 7:15 pm with coverage on Kat Kountry 105 FM and the Kat Kountry 105 app. OHS boys lacrosse hosts Century at 7:30. Girls golf is at Faribault. The boys go to Red Wing. Huskies boys tennis plays a makeup at Rosemount.
