Nitrogen Smart Program Tuesday in Faribault

The Nitrogen Smart Program will be presented in Faribault Tuesday January 23, 2019 in the Rice County 4-H Building on the Rice County Fairgrounds. The Nitrogen Smart Program will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Then the Advanced Nitrogen Smart will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. It is very important that you have taken the Nitrogen Smart before you go to the advanced. The information in the Nitrogen Smart will not be repeated in the Nitrogen Smart Advanced Program.

You do not have to preregister and there is no cost as the Nitrogen Smart and Nitrogen Smart Advanced is funded by the Minnesota Corn Growers. The programs are presented by University of Minnesota Extension Educator Brad Carlson based out of the Mankato Regional Extension office. Brad said they do not tell you how to manage nitrogen at the program. Instead they give you information to make your own decisions on how to manage nitrogen.
