New Richland Woman ‘OK’ After Jackson County Crash
A New Richland woman did not need medical attention after a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County yesterday morning.
61-year-old Lynn Hecker of New Richland was rear-ended while traveling Southbound along Highway 86 in Hunter Township in Jackson County around 11:10 Sunday morning. Hecker was rear-ended by 83-year-old Martha Ulbricht of Lakefield, MN.
According to the State Patrol Incident Report, Hecker was "driving a 2018 Mazda CX-5 southbound on Highway 86. A 2013 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Ulbricht was also traveling southbound on Highway 86. The Chevrolet Equinox then collided with the back of the Mazda. Lakefield Fire and Lakefield Ambulance assisted on the scene."
Ulbricht sustained what were describe to be non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to the Jackson Emergency Room. Hecker was reported to be uninjured.
Hunter Township is 108 miles South and West of New Richland.
