NEO-NATAL KITTENS NEED EXTRA TLC - CAN YOU HELP?

There are some adorable baby kittens that are too small to eat from a bowl yet and need a loving foster parent to be a temporary mama cat until they are big enough to eat on their own. These sweet kittens will need extra loving care, and it will be a time commitment anywhere from 1-8 weeks, depending on their age.  They usually are on a bottle for up to four weeks, with feedings that are necessary every 2 hours. To feed one kitten, it usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

These tiny kittens really don't take up much space, and can usually be kept in a carrier. Baby kittens of this size are unable to regulate their body temperature so they need to be kept warm by using a heating pad, and the foster mama will need to continue to weigh the babies daily to ensure that they are eating enough, and monitor their health, watching for sneezing, congestion, weight loss, and lethargy. However, TCHS provides you with all the knowledge and tools you need to help these babies become awesome cats, and it's an incredible feeling to know that you helped these babies thrive.

What a fun job this would be! There used to be people lined up for this, but at the moment, there are no fosters available and the TCHS location is just not a quiet comfortable place for these sweet mommas to raise their babies. Could you help out?  This is a great opportunity for someone who doesn't want to have a permanent pet, but wouldn't mind helping out every now and then.

If you would love to be a Foster parent but just aren't able to, maybe you can share the opportunity with someone you think would be a perfect fit for the job?  TCHS really needs the communities help with this task.
