Motorcyclist Injured in Crash Near Stewartville

Stewartville, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 73-year-old man was transported to St. Marys Hospital following a motorcycle crash this afternoon near Stewartville.
The State Patrol says the incident was reported just before 12:13 p.m. on northbound Highway 63 at the I-90 interchange. The crash report indicates Edward Trnka of Lonsdale was driving north when he slowed down for an emergency vehicle and collided with another northbound motorcycle.
The State Patrol noted Trnka was wearing a helmet and suffered what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. The other motorcyclist, 72-year-old Ray Bowers of Owatonna, was not wearing a helmet and was not hurt in the crash.
