Minnesotan Wins Big At Treasure Island Casino
Whenever I play the slots, I like to play in the wee hours of the morning, like between 2 AM and 5 AM. For some reason, slots seen to pay off better when I play those hours. Plus it's not quite as crowded since the elderly gamers tend to go to bed earlier.
Treasure Island Casino in Welch, Minnesota put out a press release about a big win on one of their slot machines early Sunday morning. “A lucky Minnesotan won a wide-area progressive jackpot worth $1,101,111.26 while playing Aristocrat’s Buffalo Grand™ video slot game. The life-changing jackpot was hit at 2:43 am when a guest landed the game’s top winning combination.”
Over a million dollars. That's a pretty nice chunk of money. At first the player had no idea how much he had won when he hit the jackpot. He assumed it was a smaller jackpot and he assumed wrong. According to the casino “the guest was in total disbelief”.
The machine the guest won on, according to Treasure Island, was Aristocrat's Buffalo Grand, a progressive jackpot machine that has paid out big before. Back in December of 2017 somebody hit the jackpot and won $831,765.
Personally, I'm more of a blackjack player but I doubt I'm ever going to win over a million dollars playing blackjack.
