Walmart has decided to start limiting the number of customers allowed in its stores as COVID-19 cases skyrocket around the country. A CNN report says the retail giant will once again be limiting capacity to 20%: Kory Lundberg, a Walmart Spokesperson, said, "We know from months of metering data in our stores that the vast majority of the time our stores didn't reach our self-imposed 20% metering capacity. Out of an abundance of caution, we have resumed counting the number of people entering and leaving our stores."

In other retail news, Costco is now requiring every shopper to wear a mask or face shield. Previously, people with medical conditions were exempt from this policy. Now all shoppers, except children under the age of 2, will be required to wear a face covering.

Minnesota is currently experiencing a record number of cases, tests, and deaths. Over the weekend, 8,700 new confirmed and probable infections statewide were reported, including 208 in Olmsted County. The positivity rate for testing conducted in Minnesota is almost 17-percent. There were 249 deaths reported last week.
