The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association HIgh School Volleyball Rankings had the same top ten teams in each class with just a couple changes in Class A and AA.  Class A still has the same top 5 as last week.

Mayer Lutheran is on top with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in the #2 position and Minneota in #3.  The Buccaneers captured the Cannon Falls Tournament last weekend going 5-0 with no sets lost either.  They defeated Medford in the final.  Evidently it didn't impress the pollsters too much because they did not receive any first place votes while Minneota did get one of those.

Mabel-Canton is still #5 to remain the top ranked team out of Section 1A.  Kenyon-Wanamingo fell back to #7 from #6.  Caledonia has been entrenched at #8 since the start of the season.  Medford stayed #9 and has been in that spot for the past couple weeks.

In Class AA the top ten are exactly the same as last week.  #1 is Stewartville, #2 North Branch, #3 Kasson-Mantorville, #4 Marshall, #5 Concordia Academy.

Concordia Academy plays at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown tonight.  Kasson-Mantorville is at Stewartville tomorrow night.  First place votes were recorded for each of the top 4 teams in the Class AA rankings this week.

Class AAA has the same top ten in the same order. #1 Eagan, #2 Northfield, #3 Wayzata.  Lakeville North is #5, Shakopee #6, Lakeville South #7.
