Minnesota College Student Wins Largest Prize Ever Through Lottery App
Just a few weeks ago an app called Jackpocket was introduced to Minnesota.
If you want to read the full story about Jackpocket, check it out here! The abbreviated version is that Jackpocket allows you to buy lottery tickets on your phone.
And in a matter of weeks after it's Minnesota launch, Concordia University student, Brandon Stevenson, won $1 million after purchasing a Powerball ticket through the app! This is the largest amount anyone has ever one in the state or in the country through this app.
Lottery officials told Kare 11 that Brandon "does not regularly play the lottery but decided to give it a whirl on Jackpocket." On Wednesday night, Brandon was lucky enough to match all of his numbers (except the social ball of course)!
So how is he going to get his winnings if he purchased the ticket through an app? That question can be answered HERE!
