You won't be alone, many are planning their vacations domestically this summer. According to VRBO, AirDNA, domestic bookings within the U.S. have hit their highest ever monthly level in February.

Mexico has opened things up quite a bit and airlines have been adding more flights to places like Cancun and Cozumel.  The biggest hassle there is testing negative before you board your flight home.

Even bigger cities in the U.S. are seeing less bookings for Summer vacations. A lot of travelers are opting for destinations like the mountains, coastal beaches and lakes.

We Americans, tend to take U.S. destinations for granted.  There are so many beautiful and very cool places within the continental U.S. to vacation at.  So, why not take advantage of staying closer to home this Summer and wait for the pandemic to get under control before jetting off far away.

There really are a lot of very cool places to experience right here in the U.S.
