Medford Man Killed In Wednesday Morning Traffic Crash
Elysian, MN (KROC AM News) - The State Patrol is reporting a fatal traffic crash in southern Minnesota involving a driver who was not wearing a seatbelt.
The deadly wreck happened around 7:30 am Wednesday near Elysian.
The State Patrol report says a car driven by 49-year-old Jared Jones of Medford was eastbound on Highway 60 when it collided with an oncoming SUV.
The State Patrol says Jones was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered fatal injuries. A passenger in his car - 24-year-old David St. Martin of Faribault - was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other vehicle was driven by 26-year-old Kelsi Quale of Waterville. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries but was flown to St Marys Hospital. A baby boy in her vehicle was not hurt.
