The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights as recently as a week ago thought they might be going to Triton for their first playoff game next week.  Both teams now hit the road after falling in their final regular season games.

Kenyon-Wanamingo lost to Goodhue on KDHL Radio 32-7 while Triton was the latest victim of the Caledonia Warriors 49-3.  Both teams have the honor of being in the same section with the perennial powerhouse Caledonia.

Kenyon-Wanamingo received the #6 seed.  They head to Chatfield Tuesday.  The game will be on KDHL Radio, 920 AM and the KDHL app with Mark Dorenkamp on the call.  Coverage begins 6:45 p.m.

Triton is the #5 seed.  They go to St. Charles Tuesday.  The game will be broadcast on KAT KOUNTRY 105, 104.9 FM and the Kat Kountry app.

Top seed Caledonia has Cotter scheduled to go to their field.  #2 seed Lewiston-Altura (where K-W opened the last two seasons) had Dover-Eyota come to their place.

The semi-final games are listed as 7:00 p.m. starts next Saturday at the high seed.  The Section 1AA title game will be November 1 at 7:00 p.m. on a neutral turf field according to the MSHSL bracket.
