Jury Convicts Minnesota Man In Deadly And Intentional Hit & Run

Minneapolis (KROC AM News) - A jury has convicted a Minnesota man of murder for intentionally ramming his car into another vehicle as its driver was getting inside and then driving away.
The Hennepin County jury Thursday convicted 35-year-old Said Maye of New Hope of unintentional 2nd-degree murder.
The deadly hit-and-run happened in August 2020 in Minneapolis and claimed the life of 31-year-old Idris Yussuf. Maye tried to flee the country but was apprehended before he boarded a flight.
Maye is facing a maximum prison term of 15 years when he is sentenced next month.
