According to a recent Survey Monkey poll, the majority of Americans associate summer with the beach. While Minnesota isn't known for its beaches, we're home to one of the best in the entire country, and I highly recommend it.

If you're daydreaming about beach days, biking adventures, outdoor concerts, or anything else, you're crossing your fingers for sunny skies and perfect weather. Below you can check out the Farmer's Almanac's 2024 summer forecast for Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin to learn what's expected.

The Farmer's Almanac is said to be right about 80% of the time with its long-range weather predictions and describes itself as the "most trusted source for all things weather-related for 200 years."

In its forecast for the summer of 2023, they predicted excessive heat and humidity for our region, and they were correct. According to climate.gov, last year was the hottest ever recorded, with temperature data tracked since 1850.

Stock up on sunscreen and cold drinks because it's going to be warm at times this summer. According to the long-range forecast, we might experience even hotter weather than last year, potentially setting new temperature records.

You'll definitely want to monitor the forecast if you're planning any trips to the beach or outdoor events because they say our area will experience a "seesaw" summer.
