Every year, USA Today invites its readers to vote for their favorite businesses in the 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Two of the winners are companies you probably frequent: Kwik Trip, was honored as the best gas station, and Hy-Vee, took home the award for best grocery store last year.

Hy-Vee operates 240 grocery stores across the Midwest, spanning eight states: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

My wife and I shop at our local Hy-Vee all of the time, and before grabbing a cart, we  make a pit stop at Wahlburgers. After a drink or two, grocery shopping becomes a lot more fun.

Wahlburgers is being phased out and all Hy-Vee in-store restaurant locations across the Midwest will transition back to Hy-Vee Market Grilles.

This new concept will feature a fresh menu with an emphasis on breakfast items and burgers. The menu will evolve throughout February, with breakfast launching first, followed by new lunch and dinner options.

Market Grille locations will operate weekdays from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. for breakfast, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for lunch and dinner. On weekends, breakfast will be served until 2 p.m., with a special brunch buffet available at select locations.

By the time the process is complete, Hy-Vee will have 221 Market Grille and Market Grille Express locations throughout the Midwest.
