Every store I've walked into lately looks like Valentine's Day exploded - pink everywhere, red everywhere, and more heart-shaped chocolate than I know what to do with.  And honestly? I'm not mad about it.  Those last-minute checkout displays have saved me more than once.

But while I was shopping around Rochester recently, I found a store that had all of the expected Valentine's goodies...plus a few things that stopped me in the aisle.  These items aren't your typical Valentine's gift - but they are pretty fun...and no one is going to expect them.  I'm pretty sure you know someone who would love these items too.  Below is what caught my eye at Hunt's Pharmacy & Gifts.

These Gift Ideas at a Rochester Store Made Me Stop, Laugh...and Take Photos

You could buy flowers for Valentine's Day, or one of those heart-shaped pizzas, or you could give your loved one something more "non-traditional" on February 14th.

If you ever see someone in a store taking a photo of something, that might be me.  It's what I do.  Just a few months ago, I took a selfie with a giant cardboard cutout of a Nutcracker at Hy-Vee on 37th Street.  The company saw it on my Facebook page and I ended up in their employee newsletter. #TrueStory  And no, I do not work there.

The other day, I found all of these great items at Hunt's Pharmacy & Gifts that made me smile...and I know these are going to brighten someone else's day too.  Heck, these could even be a great Valentine's Day gift for someone you know.

There is an entire "Minnesota" themed section that caught my eye.  I have been to Hunt's quite a few times lately and I keep coming back to this item to see it.  If someone wanted to buy me a Valentine's Day gift, I would love this key chain.  I don't need it but it is definitely my style.

If you've got a Vikings fan in your life, this welcome mat is pretty hilarious.

And then I found the items that made me LOL.  I actually laughed out loud when I saw these.
