Rochester Man Accused of Firing Multiple Gunshots in His Home
37-year-old Dustin William Schreader is charged with one count of reckless discharge of a firearm in a municipality. Officers responded to a home in southwest Rochester on the report of Schreader firing multiple gunshots in his home.
The court document says Schreader believed people seeking to harm him were in his home and that his mother was also in the residence.
Responding officers attempted to convince Schreader to abandon the two firearms in his possession and to come out of the home. The complaint states Schreader refused and showed a “significant amount of paranoia.”
Officers decided not to enter the home on the night of the shooting due to "the dangerous nature of the scene,” the court document says. No injuries were reported.
Search Warrant Uncovers Firearms, "Significant" Amount of Ammo
